Granny Mc died on 11th MarcH 2004,She was an Angel already on this earth, she had 13 children 5 step children 48 grand children 26 great grand children and everyone of us loved her to bits.
She died peacefully in her daughters house with her family around her and her golden ticket into Heaven in her hand!!
She was a devote catholic and true believer of the Novena, she was a hard worker, a great mother ,she loved a laugh and a pull of a fag!!She made everyone welcome in her home and there was always enough home made brown bread no matter how many visitors called, she loved her family dearly and examined and stripped all the newborns to count and kiss each finger and toe!! and welcome them into this world with a prayer for the Angels always to look over and protect each child.Granny Mc was an Angel on this earth and we all miss her sorely,Love you Granny RIP.

In Sympathy

So sorry for your loss, your story has touched my heart. My nan passed away last year and it feels like my whole world has been taken away. My thoughts are with you. God bless. I hope you find this poem of comfort, as I have done. x

What is Dying?

A ship sails and I stand watching till she fades on the horizon and someone at my side says 'She is gone'.

Gone where? Gone from my sight, that is all. She is just as large now as when I last saw her. Her diminished size and total loss from my sight is in me, not in her.

And just at the moment when someone at my side says she is gone there are others who are watching her coming over their horizon and other voices take up a glad shout 'There she comes!'

That is what dying is. An horizon and just the limit of our sight.

Lift us up, Oh Lord, that we may see further.

Miss&Love you Granny

God Saw You...
by Unknown

God saw you getting tired,
When a cure was not to be.
So He wrapped his arms around you,
and whispered, 'Come to me'.
You didn't deserve what you went through,
So He gave you rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best
And when I saw you sleeping,
So peaceful and free from pain
I could not wish you back
To suffer that again.

Miss Me, But Let Me Go
Author Unknown

When I come to the end of the road,
and the sun has set for me.
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room.
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little—but not too long,
and not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that was once shared.
Miss me, but let me go.

For this is a journey we all must take, and each must go alone.
It’s all a part of the master’s plan, a step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart, go to the friends we know.
Bear your sorrow in good deeds. Miss me, but let me go
